The purpose of the Annual Special Meeting on Climate Action is to inform Elected Members on the progress on implementing Dublin City Council’s Local Authority Climate Action Plan 2024-2029 - Climate Neutral Dublin 2030. The Plan sets out the actions that will be taken by the City Council to prepare the city for the known impacts of climate change – flooding, sea level rise, extreme weather events, drought. Climate Neutral Dublin 2030 sets out how the City Council will mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and contribute towards the global effort to limit warming to below 1.5 degrees..
